So i'm finally mostly finished with my setup

after a couple of months i've reached close to where i want to be for the next year; before i start building the motor. cars running really smooth, idle is amazing, performance wise it really does its job.

modifications include but are not limited to:

FP TD06H-20g 8cm
Deatschwerks 740cc injectors
Walbro 255l fuel pump
SPT intake (APS cold air to be put on soon)
APS DR625 front mount intercooler
APS Turboback exhaust
APS dual vent bov
engine management = open source tuning by Cameron (AKA 06rexwagon on nasioc)

car runs really good. smooth powerband and it pulls really hard up top all the way to redline.

no interior or exterior modifications minus the stealth black front mount that no one ever sees =)
unfortunately i haven't found time to dyno it yet...but hopefully soon
in the works:
PPG's
Meth injection
Built motor
fpred

Nice setup! What meth injection kit are you planning to run?

pictures, never even thought about that lol. i'll have to snap a couple with my phone later. as far as meth injection, i'm unsure right now. i've done a bit of research and come accross alot of systems. aquamist sounds tempting though, they seem to have alot of failsafes.

this is my daily beater so i'll have to take good care of it.

I'm actually in the process of building a kit based on the dds3 failsafe. If you have the money, I personally recommend the hfs-5. It is, imo, the best kit you can get. But I'm cheap...

unfortunately the shops for subies in new mexico are a little scarce.there are a few shops i know of that do great work with other cars including anything imorted but i can't vouche for their work on subies. however, the subaru crowd in new mexico is a fair size and there are many individuals who do great hand work for subies. having driven subies themselves, they know and understand our vehicles very well.

they also happen to be a very nice group of guys. there are subaru meets and cruises once every two monthes. just had a subie bbq last night in fact and the big cruise is on july 15th.

aside from subie mechanics we have some excellent tuners in town and 1 awd dyno open right now with another in the works. there is a fellow here named Cameron who tuned my car. goes by 06rexwagon on nasioc. he's not big time yet, but he's got a pretty good name for himself in new mexico. tuned ALOT of subies here and does excellent work, not to mention he is a really nice guy. he himself drives a 06 wrx with the same setup as mine minus the front mount plus meth injection.

Nathan(nmyeti) from ex-turboxs tuner also resides in new mexico if you desire his professional services. shoot me a pm if you decide to come down, i work 12 hours 7 days a week but i'm more then willing to spend the time i have away from work to help you out and point you to the people who can help take yur subie to the next level.

i'll have to look into that. all the searching i've done so far has gone in one ear and out the other. i'd be curious about how your failsafe system will work also.
