It works like a tuned header.By seperating the 2 sides by opposite firing order the pipes are run to extract the exhaust gases more efficiently by creating a "scavanging" effect. The exhaust pulses and pipe size work together to create efficient exhaust velocity to help spool the turbo sooner.Big help on the H4 as the driver side is much farther away from the turbo than the passenger.Personally its kinda a waste on a four cyclinder as you can just use an equal length header and get similar results with better top end.

I am not sure that equal length headers would be the way to do with a Twin Scroll turbo...

Well...just my Engine Mods all together after the build (I already have most of these on the car)

APS 725 FMIC
1150cc injectors*
Axis Racing Stage 5 EJ25 Short Block*
PPG Helical Dog Box
Reverse Magnus Intake Manifold*
Snow Performance Meth Injection*
ECUtek/Utec EM
40% Larger Radiator*
EJ25 Heads Port and Polished*
Full Valve Train Work*
624/725 Cams*
3" BPM Catless Exhaust
S256 Twin Scroll Turbo with Twin Scroll Headers and Up-pipe*
Custom Intercooler Piping
Perrin Fuel Rails
Walbro 255lph
Oil Cooler*
External Waste Gate*
Perrin BCS

That's all I can remember off the top of my head right now
*NEW MOD

This started out as a simple turbo swap but a few nights ago I threw a Valve from my EJ20 heads in to Forged EJ25 short block...I don't know exactly what the damage is yet (we are going to pull the motor Monday or Tuesday) but I just went ahead and got all new parts for this build and I am going to sell off everything that is not damaged.

I don't plan on this build being 100% done now for another 7-8 weeks or so...but I will keep you all posted and post pics

Using an equal length header with single volute turbo instead of a twin scroll set up....but still cool non the less.I can't wait to see the finished product results.

No that is the built short block I already had and the stock EJ20 headers that through the valve...it was one of the factors that lead me to completely rebuild everything...shooting for the big horse power numbers

Well....here is the long and short of why this damn build has been taking so long..We have everything that we need except for what we paid GP Moto to make for us...

Well...GP Moto dropped the ball in a huge way!!!!

We now have to

A. Call VISA and contest charges to get our money back that we paid 8 MONTHS ago
B. R&D all our own parts for the S256 set-up
C. R&D our own FMIC kit and Radiator

Now for the plus's

A. We will develop and sell all the kits listed above by summer...
B. I now know not to do direct business with GP Moto

So with all that said this is why the build has been delayed for sooooo long and will be delayed for another 2 months or so....we need to custom make all the parts now that were suppose to already exist!!

We do already have the Long Block we are going to use, The Turbo, well...everything we need

We are going to start putting the car back together and devolping the parts in the beginning of March...hopefully if all go's well we will have the car running by late April early May in time for the Rocky Mountain Shootout

We should also have the kits ready for sale by mid-late Summer
