replaced intake elbow

Hey guys..
My friend has a 07 Sti and wanted to clarify something...
Any of you tried installing the snorkus delete elbow in your intake???
Somebody told my friend that it won't fit the 07 Sti and Wrx..
Is that true???
Thanks!

I have seen guys with 06-07s doing it on here. Not sure why it would be any different. Just tear it apart and look. Its not that bad to just look. But maybe someone else can shed a little more lite on this.

You mainly have to take the old one off by feel. You cannot really see the bolts as they are in the fender. But if you check in the engine bay you can see where they are, then feel inside the fender for the bolt.

metroscub is more helpful than not
I took mine off and cut the bigger 75% off, then took the two end and used PVC piping to conenct them, it worked for me. I do not have that anymore, but it worked for the entire time that I used it. Ghetto, definitely, cheap, assuredly.

back to your actual question, do what the above stated, feel around and yank it ut, super simple.

Matthew
Wow, it can turn well too?

I deleted the elbow all together. The 180* bend is a restriction.I just stuck a velocity stack in the hole.
