Does anyone have any recommendations on a high flow catted downpipe that will allow me to pass NYS inspection? What do you NY residents do to pass inspection with catless or nonstock setups? Reinstall the stock exhaust for 1 day a year?
Yeah, all you have to do is put it back to stock when it comes to smog day. You could always buy a CATTED downpipe, it will most likely pass the sniffer but will not pass the inspection. To pass, I think you need your OEM equipment on it and everything. The easiest way it to: put it back to stock when it comes time to smog, or leave all emissions equipment alone.
If you want a great catted DP go look at Cobbs. I run the full TBE, I LOVE it. Stock look, decent at idle, and awesome at WOT. But Im an unofficial spokesman (just a joke) for Cobb.
