re-pipe my borla hush

i absolutely love my borla hush and even my friends and the guys at the tuner shop that have some of the loudest exhaust on theirs sti's and wrx's complement me on the low tone! but the figment is HORRIBLE! do you guys think its possible to cut and re-weld 3'' piping for it?
right now if i line it up on the hangers so that the dual tips are perfectly aligned with the back bumper it hits in like 5 places so to fix that the shop that installed it had to offset the muffler section with the tips like 4 inches off center! and its NOT the shop! i first installed it got frustrated with it hitting so i took it to a muffler shop to try and re-align everything and then i took it to the shop i normally do and thats when the mechanic pretty much told me to sell it on ebay and get another one.

I don't see why not.. A decent welder can weld stainless no problem.. Just make sure the guy can weld so you don't get any leaks.. Just be sure he TIGs it with stainless filler or the weld will rust..

But your much better off calling Borla and seeing if you can get a replacement..

Wow, there is nothing like amazing customer service.. I had an issue with Perrin (timc) and I sent them an email and heard back from them the next day.. Shame when a good company skimps on CS.... Sorry bro..

dude i dont even want to hear the word perrin right now! i had my shop install perrin front and rear bars and perrin solid end links. a month ago i started getting insane rattling from the left front and come to find out my perrin end link has a huge hair line crack in it! the guy at the shop went back and forth with perrin and after a month we got a new replacement end link.....but of course perrin sent a rear end link not the front! genus!
