questions about tbe

would a turboback exhaust make you fail the emissions test? well i heard that replacing the stock catalytic converter will make you fail it. i live in illinois and they're very strict with emissions here.please let me know asap because i don't know if i should by a tbe or catback exhaust with just a dp.thanks

Depends on what emission tests you run in your area. If it is an OBD2 emissions test with a visual, with some form of EM like the Cobb AP, you'll pass the test part, but not the visual unless you run a catted dp.

What most of us do is keep your stock TBE just incase you need it for testing in the future, that way you can put that back on for testing

My turbo's fixed and a lot better =)
