Pulstar spark plugs

So I was flipping through a car magazine at the doctor's office the other day and came across an ad for Pulstar spark plugs...

Pulse Plugs - 20,000X More Powerful Than Spark Plugs. Greater Horsepower, Fuel Efficiency, Torque.

Anybody else hear about them? Anybody use them? Are they good, bad, or possibly just another gimmick? They sound pretty good to me. What does everybody think?

I read about them in Import 2NR and was wondering the same. OT did you see this months where they reviewed the power gains going from copper plugs to Iridium?

Yeah, i've seen those advertisements too. Apparently they claim that they're 20,000 times more powerful than ordinary plugs. I seen in a recent issue of import tuner clear in the back in the power pages where they installed them in a car and recieved a significant hp gain. You can go to there website at pulstar.com for more information. When i checked them out they were around $25.00 per plug. I plan on buying them and installing on my next paycheck. Once i get them i'll let you know how they play.

Nope, I didn't see it.

Goliath, thanks for being our guinea pig. I'm sure many people will appreciate your WRX-specific input. I honestly haven't even begun to do any research on spark plugs since I won't be needing them for another 50,000 miles or so (according to the Subaru suggested maintenance schedule anyway). This new technology just caught my attention and I thought I'd share it with everyone here.

yes waiting for update. When your order ask them about 1 step colder as well, for those of us running 1 step colder due to mods.

good info in that link. It appears that they do seem to work just some cant justify spending $25 for 1 plug. Seems there might be some tuning needed to take full advantage of them as well.

So any company that puts out a claim or in an ad is completely true and must be believed? BS. Real about someone actually testing that isnt getting paid from the company and then its a little more believeable.

I actually did. Was some nice work put in by some people that gave good real world feedback about them. But didnt really have much for a WRX.
