Ok ppl, I have been looking on the forums for a few days looking for feedback on doing this.
Is this an ok thing to do and if it is I have a few questions :
1- Grimmspeed is where I want to send it to.<---- Anyone have feedback on Justin ?
2- Worth the $250.00 ?
3- How to install it after I get it back. <---- heard this is a little tricky.
OR....
1- Just save for an 18g or 20g.
2- If and when I get the PnP.... and buy an upgraded charger, charge a little more on the resale of the TD04 ?
I have never had any personal dealings with Justin, but have heard my good things about him. As for your choice in turbochargers, you have to consider with the PNP turbo you can get away with running factory injectors and a tune, with a bigger turbo you need all the supporting mods and a tune to go with it, plus it really depends on what you are wanting out of the car in the first place.

Justin is an awesome vendor. If you are thinking of upgrading to a larger turbo then I wouldn't waste the money on getting all that work done to the stocker. Just wait and get the ported option on the bigger turbo when you go bigger. It won't add that much value to the stocker to have it P&P.

10-20HP for PnP so I heard. Even at the crank it 7-16, not to mention the slight spool time increase. Not bad for 250.00. I have the WRX. Plus the coating all for 250.00. Might even help w/under the hood temps, regardless if it's only 10-20 degrees. I live in an inferno. Not much price difference between the 18 and 20. 16g and TD04/with a PnP, arent too far off from each other save spool time and all that. <-----Correct me if i'm wrong

There is a big flow difference between the TD04 and a 16g. If I were you I would look at a TD06 20G for your 2.5L motor. It would make an awesome daily driver turbo.

What is your goal for the car? A number that you are aiming for would help some also. If you want a quick spool and power the TD05 20G should be a nice go for you with having a 2.5. Thats probably eventually what I will go with at least.

Thanks Nagy, from reading, researching, and hearing it talked about so much, it has good spool, and good top end, and all streetable. But if he doesnt want that much power maybe just a quick 16 setup would be good.

Thanks guys, originally I thought of the 20g, but changing everything out is a pain but may be worth it in the end. All that needs to be changed at first is the fuel pump, injectors and fuel rails ? Anything else ?

Pump and injectors. The rails do not need to be changed. The pump is easy. You can do that in about 30 minutes. The only hard thing about the injectors is the brackets that hold them on the motor. Not too difficult. I would also recommend at least a big TMIC if not a FMIC for a 20g.
