opinions, thoughts, ideas appreciated...

so i purchased an 06 wrx for my soon to be wife. she is at stage2 on the accessport right now. upgrading her car i don't know what path i should take.

18g
sti IC
fuel pump
ss oil feed lines
ots map
protune later later later....

or

20g
sti IC
fuel pump
ss feed lines
injectors
protune

the answer seems simple but it's the situation that is complicated. no protuner anywhere near this strange place i am now residing. cobb offers an OTS map for the 18g she will be able to use for a few months before i take her car to get tuned. money is a factor, so thoughts and ideas on "bang for the buck" would be appreciated.

it was either this upgradeor a freakin expensive purse, but i'd rather invest in car parts than a bag that she's gonna forget about in a week.

thanks
mike

that is a lot of power. not trying to be sexist at all but def make sure your wife knows that it is really going to be powerful. i agree with blacknight. this is what i would do:
20g
ssac tmic <-------------ebay for $170 shipped or right here: FS SSAC Top Mount Used
samco i/c hoses
fuelpump
injectors
tune.

well i just finished processing the order on the FP20g. i had to jump on the deal i got through a source who wishes to remain annonymous.

td05h18g7cm
ported
gaskets
lines and all
$1202 shipped

td06h20g8cm
ported
gaskets
lines and all
ceramic coating
$1202 shipped

made my decision easier in a sense. before we got together my wife2b drove a z06 vette that she took drag racing all the time. hopefully she can control the rex without to many issues, but i know what you guys are thinking, she's still a woman driver. no offense to anyone of course...
