I know I do. LOL. But back to your origional question.. The above listed mods is a great start so as not to hit her with a ton of new power all at once.. Let her get used to the power increases and do it little by little..
I agree with..
Full Turbo Back Exhaust
*you might want to make sure she understands how loud those exhausts can be.. The drowning can be unbearable.. There is a site that hosts a bunch of exhausts with sound clips that you might want to search for.. I can't remember where it was, sorry..
As for the vids.. You guys knew I was going to do it.
well im new to the whole subie thing cause my gf has an 06 wrx and she wants to make it faster but i dunno what the first thing to tell her to get is, and she doesnt like to get on these forums.
with me being an evo owner she wants to make her car faster and i dont know the first thing what she can get.
but she says she likes to hear my evo spool up loud.
so im open for suggestions on what she can get to make her car a fun car for her to drive.
Another evo owner to keep me company
green is basically a 50 trim and the red is bigger than that. around a 57 trim or so.
fbe, and a tune and she might be happy unless your evos modded and she wants it that fast then my friend your effed haha.
just want to say welcome to the suby world! yea for starters i just did exactly what they said, i got a 07 wrx with no mods last week and now i got decent ones
first i changed my oils to royal purple 10w30
then i changed my tranny oil to royal purple maxgear 75w90
removed the air intake silencer inside the passenger side fender well
invidia g200 exhaust, its big, its not too loud, and its angled, with a cool burned tip
then i got a cobb accessport to get stage 1 in
and now i have an invidia downpipe, ssautochrome top mount intercooler, spt intake, heatshield, samco hoses, new restrictor pills and lines (i think thats for an 07 wrx and sti only), and of course i bought 2005 wrx tail lights.
sorry i didnt mean to brag =) but im excited, i think those mods are defiantely enough to make her happy, its about 2000 dollars and can get you going real fast until your ready for a stage 3 vf39 turbo upgrade or even higher. happy modding!
if you wanted the best bang for your buck i would probably do this
Full megan tbe, 500 dollars at WSCP.com
spt intake just so she can hear that spool sound
the spt heatshield to help with heat soak
maybe do the intercooler spray mod to help with heatsoaking
thermotec wrap your downpipe to help with heatsoaking
and finally get an xpt2 stage 2 map, just use your labtop its about 50 dollars for the map
