Thumbs up New vs. Old

Finally got around to snapping a few shots of my new Cobb TBE. I know there are many shots and sound clips around. Just thought I would post som directly here to help so membrs that might be thinking of it. Im still trying to get a sound clip or two of it also, comparing it to my old (POS) CBE.

First 3 pics are of course the old CBE. The last ones are of the beautiful and wonderful Cobb TBE. I am just really REALLY satisfied wth the fitment, the sound, the quality.

Wow, that COBB muffler looks amazing! Way cooler than a fart-can!

BTW, I love the rotas..... It looks pretty good. And are those upgrade rear brake calipers?Or do they just look like that stock? (I don't go around staring @ brake calipers lol)

They're stock. 2006 and 2007 WRXs came from the factory with red brake calipers with white "Subaru" letters on them.

Yeah... freaking 06 owners get everything. Even 08+ don't get those brakes.

The old CBE was some no name brand, was alrite at first, but it did get old. It didnt hook up properly to the Cobb DP, but i wanted the Cobb CBE anyways. Like man show said, stock brakes, I dont like them being red, I will eventually paint them black probably. I love my Rotas, the look the color and the price were exactly what I was looking for. Thanks everyone for the compliments.

That truly is a personal preference I have discovered. At first I loved the loud angled look. But I know now I will always have a "stock" look and sound to my car.

Awesome exhaust... that's what I have on mine. I might have to copy you with the lowering goodies and gold wheels. The Yakima snowboard roof rack I just bought put me in the poor house though, so that'll probably have to wait until spring.

Oh ok, thanks. I couldn't read what the letters said on the calipers. I kinda like red calipers look. I've painted mine red... The front's are awesome; huge calipers on them 11.3 inch front discs.... Black is still nice too, better than the normal grey or whatever that color is.
