AP is Cobb accessport.
And a properly installed recirculating BOV has no real +ve or -ve effect for performance with a stock turbo... May run a little rich on shifts.

The AP can be professionally tuned really to match any bolt-on mod, but using the pre-designed maps you need to use the mods Cobb designed the map for.
Example, you can't run a cobb stage 2 map with only a cat-back, as the map is designed for a TBE. You can however run a stage 2 map with just a downpipe, although a full TBE is recomended for the most gain.
You can use the AP with real simple stuff like a panel filter, or even a BOV if you decide to go that route, as long as it recirculates. I guess some people run the AP with intakes, although Cobb says they only recomend using their own intake with the AP.
Ok, what does AP mean again? I know what the rest of the acronyms are, but man, you guys have just as many nomenclature type references on here as the army, you are making my newb-ass head spin......
