That budget is not near enough for what you want.

What Justin said. I have almost 17K in my car and just hit 350 AWHP when I was in Washington state. You know you will need an upgraded transmission eventually with that power (around 5-7K there alone). No suspension/brake upgrades? You will need and want them with the added power. Good tires for the car are a good thing also. Best bet is to keep saving and doing research on what has worked and go from there.

My Blouch 20G-XT should put down numbers in that range, but that's with a build trans and motor. I'm breaking in the motor now and the tune is scheduled for early next month.

Reliable, fast, cheap: pick two.

Yeah, we're not trying to be pricks. Just we know its not 2,600-2900 to get where you want to be. Unless you want to break stuff and be out of a car.

^ True. I'm really a nice guy... I just know what it's like to not have my car for extended periods of time. Driving around in a hooptie rental car is not my idea of fun. Unless this is a project car and you have another reliable vehicle, please don't take the fast/cheap route, however tempting it may be :)

Then again, I know PNC is currently offering a credit card with 0% interest for 12 months and balance transfers have a one-time fee of 3% so that might be an option.
