Well, I know that power is tempting, but it would be nice to but that power to the ground well, my next suggestion would be coilover ( or springs), f/r sways, and tires. Assuming all of the above are still stock.

Yeah agreed just do it in reverse order. Tires b4 anything else.

Handling would be a good thing to think about. If you start to add too much power you wont be driving your car like you want without an upgraded transmission.

I am at the same point stage 2 all cobb. i would do this
Larger intercooler in preperation for a new turbo. a retune pdx email maps. i am at 280lbs of tq to the wheels. love it. i am also thinkin 20 g injectors fuel pump or 18g. but maybe a turbo inlet pipe. lightened pulley some small things to help run better in preperation for turbo upgrade is what i suggest..

Yea deffinatly suspension mods are coming in soon. But i was thinking about the perrin crank pulley. Any advice about that?

on stock turbo?
and what type of dyno?

bjpeppers 11-14-2007 01:07 PM

In response to the Crank Pulley Question, That's one of the first mods I did on my WRX. I noticed a pretty decent difference. The car seemed to be easier to drive. For example I could go much slower in second gear without bogging down too much. It did have a noticeable gain in acceleration as well. I would go for that if you've got an extra $100....

I agree..do suspension and than brakes. You gotta make sure you can stop

TexRex22 12-02-2007 12:46 PM

a header would be nice or maybe meth

2007bluewrx 12-02-2007 05:06 PM

How about a intake... XPT has a stage 2 race map... I think it says 245 to the wheels and 301tq.... Thats fast.....

WRXKidid775 12-03-2007 12:17 AM

He has an SPT intake already. He is already stage 2....

tires, sways, endlinks, bigger tmic, IC hoses, equal length headers.

your gonna be pretty much maxed out on your stock turbo.

Driving school? Those are always fun and super beneficial.

Rocket boosters FTW!!!

You have "Go" taken care of a little, and I would say take care of "Stop" a little. Suspension as well.

Bluerex019 12-12-2007 03:08 PM

Bet it feels like a different machine with the work you have so far. I would go with cams next, and a good engine management system. I am sure that will provide really good gains all around.

wiked06rex 12-12-2007 04:36 PM

Well underdrive pulleys do work. and hasnt caused me any problems.
Big TMIC wont hurt , but will probably not help alot.
Meth injection will alow you to run more boost on pump gas.
equal length header will allow more power overall.
Custom/Pro tune it !!!!
