HI, i own a 06 WRX LIMITED. I am new to this whole turbo mod stuff. So far i have done a cat back , drop in filter , boost gauge single pillar , lowered tein springs ,BOV, a friend of mine raised my boost 2 lbs.....dont know what he did exactly but he connected his laptop to my car under the dash. We are talking about adding a boost controller and short ram intake..(more for the sound actually) . i am very excited to have found this site and i am just beginning to read all the listings.
My main question , that i havent come across yet is if i add a short ram intake, does that mess up the car or sensors with all that extra air coming in?
I will kepp you guys posted as i experiment and look forward to picking your brains.

BOV and CAI discussions - read before you ask about one

Read this about intakes and BOV's. Your friend used engine management (EM) on your car, most likely opensource. Ask him what he did, I'm sure it was just a stage 1 opensource base map flash. And welcome, nice to have you here.
