Loosing Boost Pressure

Hey guys, I recently RE-Flashed a friends 07 STI with a 91 Octane Daily Driver Map using my Tactrix cable. Everything was great, he hit target boost (16lbs), car ran like a champ.
So, he calls me this morning and says that while boosting yesterday, it fell from 16lbs to
9lbs. Even at WOT in 3rd and 4th 9lbs. I told him that maybe the car went into limp mode for some reason. The car has a Perrin BOV and nothing else, so I told him to remove the BOV and replace with stock and run again.

Any thoughts??

if it worked well in the beginning after the flash with the bov, then it is probably the ecu readjusting/compensating for something within the map (i am ony getting into opensource, so take it as a suggestion). Maybe he did some other bolt-ons. Tell him to reset the ecu, it should go back to its original flshed behavior and will relearn and compensate to how it's acting now after some time. Hope this is of some help...

The BOV was most likely the culprit. Boost that is supposed to be recirculated was not causing an extremely rich MAF reading.
