looking for the good stuff

Hey guys, I have a really dumb question. I just bought a new WRX and am looking for good brands to stick to whilst tuning it. Perrin and Cobb seem to keep popping up. are they any good? are there any other brands to keep in mind whilst shopping?

There is so much aftermarket support for your car it's crazy. Perrin and COBB make good products, so does Cusco and Kartboy. Depends what you are looking to upgrade.

Welcome to the forums.

I am very happy with my cobb tbe, and cai. I have an AP as well. Most brands have their own specialties..such as cusco and kartboy are more of handling upgrades...I have heard great things about perrin but most of the products are out of my price range. If you have any questions about specific products ths is the place to search or ask questions before you buy!

Very happy with Cusco F&R strut bars and they are well worth the money.

Hawk HPS brake pads, Perrin Cold-Air Intake. Prosport Premium Series Boost, Oil Pressure, EGT, and AFR gauges. Dunlop Sport SP tires, MB wheels, Kartboy short-throw shifter and shifter bushings, SPT lower-chassis brace, SPT stainless-steel catback exhaust, Cobb Accessport, Forge BOV, Magellan 1700 7" GPS Nav. Some of the products that are working great on my '09 WRX.

Cobb or Mode racing (Same thing basically as the Cobb, its just labeled Mode racing) is known for being a better short shifter anyways.
