Yes it will bolt right up. My suggestion would be to get a new Y pipe because the stock WRX one is junk, and I have heard that fitment isnt to great with that y pipe and the STi TMIC.

that thing is not going to fit, and if you do get it to fit properly, it will still be a shitty fit. I tried putting an 04 sti tmic on mine and I wound up keeping the stocker, the fitment is horrible, and personally, not worth the effort, there is not going to be a huge difference anyways, but if you can get the thing for free or really cheap, then it might be a good project to try and make it work.

Wow, it can turn well too?

im pretty sure it will work, but im not that sure as i dont know a lot about the 2.5 wrx's. as for the exhaust question, the turbo back system starts at the turbo, it doesnt touch the intercooler at all so the turbo back wont be an issue. hey i could use an 04 sti intercooler for cheap if it doesnt work

^^^^

I dont think you need to worry about an intercooler messing up your stage 2 map. Reason being, is because the STI intercooler will just allow cooler air into the motor, which is safer than the warmer air you would get from a stock intercooler. You'll be fine man.

I agree with metroscub. The 04 STI TMIC that I have tried to mount in my 04 WRX fits like absolute SHIT. The left (above the turbo heat shield) mounting bracket does NOT match up. It's about an inch too far toward the firewall! With the hoses hooked up, it sits on a noticeable angle as well! On top of all of this, there is NO noticable gain from this mod. Not on it's own at least.
