Aside from a little surface rust on the hot side (to be expected), it looks like it's in good shape

Yeah only maybe 4000 miles tops he bought it new and then upgraded to a 20g

Any cracks on the wg valve area? I know the vf39's had the issue all the time... but the 43's were less prone IIRC. Not that it's a big deal.... but still nice to know b4 installing it

Yeah I'm going to pick it up in 3 weeks my buddy only used it for maybe a 2 months with less then 5k on it bought it brand new then upgraded to s 20g. I'll make sure to check for any cracks

Also, HE used it for 2 months..... How many miles were on it b4 he installed it?

Picked up my turbo last night guy says its a vf43 looked at pictures of vf43's online andover looks a little different can anybody look at the pictures I previously posted and varify that it is in fact a vf43. If you need more pictures of it I'll be happy to post more. Thanks guys

That's not a VF43. IHI brands their turbos and the wastegate is also wrong. It I have no idea what it is since there are no markings.
