Upgrade your turbo to an sti turbo, is there anything you have to upgrade? and would you need to tune it?

Yes bigger top mount, and fuel upgrade and yes to the tune, also a 3 port would be nicer.

3,500 mi = 5,600 k, km, kilometers, so the oil change interval is fine. Every 6,000 km is the oil change interval in the Canadian owners manual.

Boost Control Solenoid. It's the solenoid that allows the ECU to set/control the boost the turbo makes.

Stock they have a 2-port, but there are aftermarket 3-port upgrades.

People claim its ok to go over 3k miles...yes, it is. But, you drive a turbo charged car...the turbo doesn't like dirty oil. Most turbo damage is due to dirty oil or low oil. So, just change it and suck it up. Your car likes to be maintained more than a naturally aspirated car...deal with it.
