hks hi power exhaust

looking to add on a hks hi power exhaust, cbe. stock pipes, does anyone know how much it will improve hp? or how much of a benefit a turboback is compared?

A CBE (cat back exhaust) is more for look and sound. One of the biggest restrictions on the car is the factory downpipe. With a tune and a bellmoputh downpipe you can unlock a good bit of HP. The first thing you should really start looking at before anything else some type of EM (Engine management) i.e. Cobb AP, Opensource, theres alot of knowledge about both on this site and on the internet. Check this link out:Unabomber's Manifesto - NASIOC alot of info about modding in general.

Yes, your WRX catbacks are glorified noise makers, not power makers. It's the downpipe you want to replace for that (along with the required tuning to go along with it). You'll see a considerable bump in power, power delivery, and general driving pleasures.

HKS is loud, better bring ear plugs if you want to keep your hearing. Does sound damn good though.
