The APS is a very nice exhaust system. If you're going to do it, go with the 3". The 3.5 is mainly for HIGH HP applications. It is expensive, but nice. If you want it and have the $$$ for it, then get the 3". There are many other high quality exhausts, so don't set your sight on only one exhaust. I think just about everybody here knows that I love the Invidia system. That is what I have on my 04 STi. Invidia is a VERY good quality exhaust that is not very expensive. Lokk for an exhaust that you like the look of, can afford, and you like the sound, you have your winner.

pick what you think looks best first. Then go by sound to narrow it down. It's easier that way.

At that point, it's personal preference. It's what ever you like. In this situation, with the $800 system, you have $300 that you could put towards something else. Like an A.P.!

Cobb Access Port. The AP is practically a god on this forum!

Get the AP from Cobb= Stage 1. Get the TBE = Stage 2. Then your making power

If you got the $$$ Go for the aps 3.5". I have it on my car, it's worth it! Keep in mind it only comes cat less, so if your trying to stay legal, find a different exhaust.

I have an up pipe and the turbo back. Turbo XS UTEC coming soon! 3.5" is kinda overkill, but it fits great, looks great, and sounds excellent!

The AP is engine management, not really a big fan of it. I would lean more toward the UTEC because it gives you more control in tunning with things like ignition timing, fuel, and boost.

You will probably loose a little bit of torque on the bottom end but not anything noticeable. On the upside you will gain 20-30 hp and the turbo will spool up a bit faster.
