You can search nasoic for a used downpipe and a used cobb ap and u might be able to get that combo for 700...maybe...if not, just get the ap u will feel a difference by just flashing the ecu to stg 1. then later on get a downpipe and u will be stg 2.

I totally agree with Z on this. If you are looking for a little bit of power and better spool and power delivery then a Cobb stage 1 (or any other if you like) is a noticable difference on the car.

I agree as well, go with the COBB AP and Flash to Stage 1. You'll need the AP in the long run if you plan on more mods.

No real surprise there...my old wrx used to get about 325 miles to the empty light came on. But my STI stage 1 will barely make it past 235 miles and thats if I baby it the entire time. Which I can't not resist to lay the pedal down at times.

Glad to hear that you like the power that the flash gave. I keep hearing people say abut less MPG, guess you guys have a heavy foot. I picked up 2-3 MPG unless I put on my lead boot (worst I got was 11MPG).
