greddy tic?

hey, anyone tried the greddy tic exhaust?
i was looking at the blitz nur spec r but it will be to loud.
i need the exhaust to be under 95 decibels for california and i know the greddy tic is.
is there any others like the greddy i should consider?
if i am getting the tic catback do i need to get anything else like em, intake, etc?
will i lose low end with this exhaust?

Im not familiar with that exhaust or the decibel rating of ANY of the exhausts, as that doesnt matter to me. But as far as needing anything else, you wont. You probably wont even feel a gain with getting just a catback, just a louder/deeper exhaust tone. The best bang for the buck is some type of EM for the car. Then a DP will free up your exhaust flow, the stock DP is VERY restrictive.

Well I have not run into anyone running the Ti-c catback, I am picking mine up Tuesday and should be installing it that day if the gaskets and all parts are there. I myself dont have a way to record audio or video, all I own is an old digital camera. I will see if I can get a vid or sound clip put together because I could only find one online and it was a crappy video. As for the whole power thing, it is basically just for sound and a little step towards my TBE.

For quiet exhausts I would go with GReddy Evo2, the Borla Hush, or the Mad Dad Whisper.

No way you got that from just a CB and an intake by themselves. Was there a tune involved too?

Well I received the Ti-c yesterday and put it on. No issues installing, everything mated perfectly. With the silencer on it sounded retarded so I took the dildo lookin thing off and it sounds real good. A great deep tone thats not too loud, when cruising and idling you can barely hear it, but when you hit the pedal it is exactly the sound I was looking for. I will try and get some pics up today and I will work on a sound clip for you guys.

Here are two pics I took. I will work on sound sometime later, but if you do buy this system I highly doubt you will be disapointed.

i got it from my buddy who started jlbmotorsports.com and got a good price on it, 500 even out the door. its barely angled but there seems to be more ground clearance than the stock muffler. its not angled sideways but slightly upward, around 10-15 degrees or so.
