so lets say i had the hks CBE hi power and i threw a down pipe on it then it would now be called a turboback?

Every exhaust that fits 02-07 will fit your car.

Cat back refers to a Cat after the turbo and a Turboback just means you don't have a cat after the turbo.

i have a 07 with a catless TBE... and i had a problem with boost creep until i went to
boxe4racing, there is a fix for it . it is like a nitrous pilll but its for limiting boost. basically i hit 16.5lbs of boost and dont go any higher. subaru didnt put these pills in the 06-07 cars but it is a genuine subaru part thats fixes it, it cost me a total of $12 to get rid of my boost creep

well that's not a very good way of saying it. It implies the Turboback HAS to be catless which is not true. How about a nice picture? Oh wait, I already posted one!


NOTE: The STi and 06+ WRX do not have a pre-cat in the up-pipe. Otherwise the same.
