No...the AP is specific per model. You have to get the WRX AP.

The part number for the 2.5L STI and 2.5L WRX is the same from Cobbs website:

http://cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3256
http://cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3264

Notice how the 02-05 WRX has a different part number?...

As long has STI35 completely unmarries his AP from his car, then it should work fine on any 06-07 WRX and 04-07 STI.

Check with cobb but it should work. I'm not 100% sure that it will work with the wrx but they would know. Yes it will be unmarried from my ecu.

V1 APs were specific to year/type

V2 APs they work on pretty much anything with the same displacement. The 2.5L V2 AP works on all 2.5L WRX/STi models.

course, don't take my word for it. Call Cobb.
