I was thinking of getting this soon to install on my 07 REX but cannot find any install guides on them.... Are they easy to install ?? They quote 15-40 horse increase

EWG isn't nearly as effective as it would be with a larger turbo. IMO I'd look into more effective mods for the level your at (Stage 2 I think?).

I was thinking the same thing, but it would be MORE effective later. I look at gains vs $$ and reliability. 350.00 shipped isn't bad IMO. I haven't seen anything on these boards about Grimmspeeds' EWG UP. I understand it could be a 6 hr job..... I will upgrade to a larger charger later.

I would not bother getting an EWG unless it also comes with a rotated turbo. You'll just yank all that EWG crap you just bought in favor of one with a better turbo position later (you sound like you're going big).

EWGs with a stocker are a waste of money. If you really want to maximize the stocker, take it off and get it ported and polished.

I was going to do that, BUT..... I want to get a bigger one later and PnP would cost me $$250.00 and not get anything in return when I do get a bigger charger. I won't go TOO much bigger. 20g is the largest I would go. So, just a regular aftermarket UP is better...?

Both would work with a 20G EWG or IWG. I actually think for a 20G an EWG would run pretty well, but I'm not sure what size you'd need, maybe the 44mm. Basically you'd want to wait until you got the larger turbo and install all of that at the same time. You have an 07, there's no need to replace it now anyway. I'd say put that money towards a bigger blower and your desired setup.

You could run one on a stock turbo, but I agree I would wait until you go for something bigger. There are a few people running them on stock turbos, but they are drag cars that are running in a stock class that only allows a few mods to the car and they need it to keep the boost level higher than you'd get with a IWG.

I thought I would kill 2 birds w/one stone since the stock UP is a little restricted anyways. So I've heard even the 07 w/out the cat.
