eip vs sti intercooler

a friend of mine has this for sale.i plan on staying with a top mount and running a 18g or equal turbo.has anyone ever used or heard of someone using a EIP IC?heres a pic.it is a nice piece.just want to make sure im getting a qaulity part

Do you know or can you get the dimnesions of it? Im kind of a firm believer in getting what you pay for, say for example APS or Perrin to name a couple. I know they are a little more, but most the time are an original design with much R & D put into it.

That doesn't look that big to me. It's not very deep. I would not view that a superior to the STi TMIC. It's probably roughly equivalent. Both are less than half of the size of the APS and Perrin models. I limit on my STi TMIC with just a simple "regular" 16G. A TD06-18G should really get something larger.

Wow, I just saw that you were looking or getting an 18G. I would definetly, like Mosc said, get something bigger than both the STI and the other IC you are looking at.

with the amount of money im putting into it i might as well get the stealth FMIC

Thats personal preference. But I have yet to see a TMIC compare in price to the stealth FMIC. TMIC is cheaper cause of less piping and all. Thats your choice though OP.
