Just in case anyone was wondering Subaru wanted 2300$ don't think this included t-stat, or timing belt tensioner or water-pump. Or machining heads

So to be clear, the $800 you were quoted was for labor only? That seems pretty decent...but also don't know the up charge for sending the heads out for machine work and other parts. May end up costing similar.

At the dealer it was 600 in parts. But that didn't include timing belt tensioner, t-stat, Plugs, and water pump.

Ill be getting all the gaskets for the motor pretty much, cam seals, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, water pump, t-stat, plugs, and arp head studs for around 650. This is with my discount thru Subaru because ill be ordering thru my dealership.so add 800$ labor and it'll be around 1500$. With more being done at the performance shop. Charges 70$ compared to the dealers 110$ an there mark up on the all the parts.

You get discount on Subaru even though you work for another manufacturer.

Although I forgot about them being owned together.
Like with the frs/brz, so NM

I get a discount at any local dealership that Toyota has an account with and as well as local places like auto parts international

Shut it, all I need is injectors and the rotated kit. Then poop loads of 450+whp would be mine. FOL

I just want to see dyno plots before I would do it. Chad could probably let my beast live about 7k rpms too.

I have some wedding to pay off still and saving for a house. I might be able to squeeze in a rotated somewhere. If the plots look promising...if I can gain more red line to offset the loss of spool it might be worth it.
