Cold Air Intake- Noticeable Paerformance increase?

I am trying to decide whether or not to get a cold air intake system. I have read in the tuner guide that it may not be that great pf an increase in HP. My 2007 WRX is completely stock, so I was wanting to see if after you guys installed a cold air intake, did you notice a difference in power? If so, what brand do you have? I am also thinking about just getting a regular K&N filter...

CAI will 9 out of 10 times mess up the car unless you get a tune for it. The stock box on the 02-07s are pretty decent design. If you just want the noise from the intake and turbo/BPV get something like the SPT or Cobb as the are the same ID as the stocker, or do the snorkus delete and a high flow panel replacement filter.

K&N replacement panel filter and snorkus delete mod is probably your best route.
