Cobb XLE BPV

I have the Cobb BPV and I havn't noticed a difference in sound when I remove the panel for 50/50 setup. Does anyone know of an attachment that will make the 50/50 setup louder? Like something that can bolt to where the panel removes.

With my whole setup (before the transmission upgrade), the 20G, intake, full TBE, I notice a huge difference between 50/50 and full recirc. Im not sure what to tell you honestly. If you are looking for sound alone then you bought the wrong setup. Post up a video maybe. I believe that Turmic (Kirt) runs one and he has his at full recirc if memory serves me correct.

I run it full recirc. With my APS intake and Agency Power inlet (APS knock off) it sounds pretty darn loud at times and quiet at others. It all depends what I'm doing and what rpm I'm messing around in. Well, my upgraded turbo probably helps push a lot more air into my upgraded TMIC also. Maybe the TD04L - 13T just isn't pumping out enough cfms to make it sound good. *shrug*

Good break down Kirt. Thanks for sharing your experience. Like you (Kirt) I have no experience with running anything other than a stock BPV on the stock turbo. But I could imagine that the stock TD04 doesnt push enough air to make to much of an (audible) difference with a BOV like the Cobb unit.

The inlet and intake really made it more noticeable. Because I don't run it 50/50 or full atmosphere.

Ok well I'd first like to apologize for wasting my intake's precious air. And thanks for the input guys. Maybe ill have to try the 50/50 setup again. I'm pushing 18.5 peak psi. So I assumed I'd hear something.

Realize tho that 18.5 PSI on your stock turbo is a different amount of airflow than 18.5 PSI on my 20G and 18.5 PSI on Kirts 2.5XTR.

I hear it in 50/50 or recirc. You have to listen for it in my car now tho since I have gears that make noises, intake, turbo, exhaust. Everything likes to be heard now, lol.

My definition of loud might be different then others. But, like I said...Its loud enough to be heard at times in my car and sometimes its quiet. It all depends on when and how the car is being driven. Sometimes just smashing on the throttle won't make it that loud at all.
