cobb downpipe, stock exhaust & AP stage2
just a comment and reflection on how exited I am tonight.....

got cobb downpipe installed and reflashed using ap stage2 and all i can say is wow.
what a diff

even the mechanic asked me what else i did to the car ### it feels so much more powerful than what he expected (had it only reflashed to stage1 when he test drove and said cell codes thrown - then i reflashed to stage2)

also to note, i expected the exhaust to be louder with the boxer rumble and to my surprise it sounds like stock still. i did leave the stock exhaust on for it not to be too loud but i didn't expect it to sound like stock still. i can hear the turbo spool and bov a little bit more but still stock like quiet.

i wanted a little bit of rumble but not too much just enough for people to hear me when they're walking in front of me in my back alley so they can get outa the next spring probably gona rectify that and get the cobb cat back for a full turbo bak setup.

Excellent choice with the Cobb dp. I remember how excited I was when I installed mine and flashed to Stage 2. It has been almost 3 years and over 50,000 miles and I'm still very happy to drive my Stage 2 WRX every day.

It's always nice to hear someone writeup their first impressions of experiencing stage 2. Glad you're enjoying it.

Ahh yes, I remember that first test drive. It's really the only way to drive a rex. Enjoy, once you swap for an aftermarket catback it will be plenty loud.(depending what you get)

Ah... Stage 2... I did mine 3 years ago, UP,DP,STi cat back and AP Stage 2... still running strung just like that but I'm contemplating going for an Invidia Q300 and an Invidia ELH later on...
