Hey guys whatsup? I just recently ordered a Seibon carbon fiber hood and a pair of cf fenders, also seibon. I was just wondering if anyone had any hints/tips/tricks or mabye even a walkthrough when it comes to installing a new hood and set of fenders.

Thanks,

it will be a fairly simple install. don't tighten all the bolts down until you get the fenders and hood lined up.

If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing

the fenders i dont know, but the hood lined up perfect the first time for me, i guess i got lucky. only PITA was that the windshield sprayer nozzles wouldnt fit in the holes so i had to dremel them out and there were no holes under the hood for the plastic clips that hold the waterline for the nozzle so i had to cut those too. I would also recommend some hood pins or you can get the nrg locks like i did. And i also installed the hood 100% by myself, so its not difficult at all due to everything being so light.

regular washing and waxing would keep it glossy smooth and nice.but over a long period of time the top coat will still wear out so you can consider re-lacquer.

I wax mine about once a month with meguiars gold class because thats what i had laying around, but any good uv resistant wax should do just fine. ive had mine on since july-07 and it still looks as good, clear, and shiny as the day i installed it. no yellowing whatsoever.
