borla headers rub?

im looking to buy borla headers for an 06 sti just curious if they rub on the oil pan. i have an 03 wrx with some ebay headers and they rubbed on the oil pan. i know they were cheap but just curious if anybody has them on a 2.5 liter wrx or sti.

p.s. i plan on getting tuned for them so please dont try to tell me they are bad and that i dont need them.

thanks in advance.

rollin on 17's now and they're dirty

Borla header are prone to cracking.. It's all I heard about when I was looking to buy a header for my setup.. Needless to say I'm still running stock.. If your on the stock turbo you should stay stock anyway.. At most Port and Polish the stocker.. This is help the flow but still keep the characteristics of the stocker to keep power where it should be...

yea they have a million mile warranty, so im not too worried about that. i like the fact that they are ceramic coated and cheaper than most headers.

just curious if they rub on the 2.5 liter oil pan

i have the 2.5 litre, but i have my 02 oil pan. anyway, my megan headers are pretty close to the pan, actually i think that they pretty much touch, but when the engine shakes, it shakes as a whole so i dont think it does any damage, i could be wrong though. one problem i did have was that my headers rubbed a on my subframe, crossmember thing in the front, but a die grinder and some paint fixed that.

P&P with a race pipe (in my opinion) is your best option.. Faster spool and better product..
