Best Mod??

Ok, I have been searching this forum for a few days now trying to learn about my new found love interest... my 07 WRX. My car is 5 days old and im trying to figure out what im going to do to it. I want to mod it, but, I dont want to mess with the computer. I would like to stick with bolt ons for now for my warranty. What in your opinion are the best mods I can do with out reprogramming my computer? I keep reading that an intake and exhaust wont really help but make it loud.

i think your question is a broad one. modding can mean speed, handlings, aesthetics.

Most power mods will require that you get a tune.

My name is Ken and I am a HP Junkie.

Well I want a performance mod. I have researched this site as well as cobbtuning.com. Im starting to lean towards maybe the Cobb AP stage 1. I have been told that if repairs are needed, you can remove it back to original settings? Is this true?? The consensus on this site is EM is first and everything else later.

i think the Cobb AP is great but if you are cheap like me i bought all my parts and installed them at once and got a protune afterwards and the tuning was cheaper than the accesport. that and u can always get more with a protuned car.

rollin on 17's now and they're dirty

I started with suspension (coilovers, better tires, and sway bars). you can really FEEL the difference with those mods.

+1 if you dont want to void your warranty like i have (i bought an extra warranty) witch im going to go get refunded the prorated amount for the time left on the warranty.... thatll be between 1500 and 2000.... if you want to keep your warranty good go under the car get some nice wheels & tires, move to sway bars & end links, then to ether coil overs a good quality lowering spring....<<<< if you do that make sure to get it alined and a camber kit installed so the you dont wear you tires....
