I want to add an exhaust to my WRX, but as a lot of people, need it at a budget price. I'm not normally into ### cars on exhaust, but there's just something about that boxer engine on the right exhaust, that puts me up in the clouds. Is there a good quality at a budget price muffler I can put on until my funds are saved up for all the tuning? I am dropping a brand new engine in, so by the time I get all the funds together, it will still be very low mileage. I would just at least like for it to sound good until then. Ideas, or should I just wait...???
I really love the deep rumble that the boxer engine puts out, but if I had to say, I'm going a little more for the loud side. I'm from the south....we like our shit loud :rocks:
Agree, sound is completely up to you. Check YouTube out for different sounds, won't be exact, but ball park.
Than go on nasioc.com and find a used one for cheap.
Check out Invidia. Decent quality, relatively inexpensive. I'm running their catless, bellmouth downpipe. Can't speak specifically for their catbacks, but I've heard good things.
At that price for new, Yes.
But for something that cheap, if it last two years and sounds good, looks good, who cares. Not like you would be losing a small fortune.
Search surewin on Ebay. It's what I've been running for years and it looks stock, but has a nice rumble to it...
