Another headlight option for hawkeye owners

I randomly stumbled across these tonight: Subaru Impreza 2006-2007 Black LED Projector Headlights by Spec-D - 2LHP-WRX06JM-TM

I still can't decide whether or not I like them. There is also a version with a silver/chrome background. What do you guys think?

Are they HID projectors? I'd be worried if the beam pattern is clear or not. If not it would just be more wasted time to ship them to LightWerkz to fix them. I don't know....I don't like the led thing. Every one and there brother is doing it now. I'm seeing late 80s and early 90s civics running the led on their hightlights. Its like really? Why would you do it on a vehicle that old? So, that's really spoiling it for me and really is throwing it in the RICE catergory.

I've know about those for a while. They are pretty tacky and the projectors in them are terrible. They are a candidate for retrofitting, but then you still have to deal with the tasteless LED strip and you might as well have just painted your stock headlights while they were out.

They'd go well with some curb feelers and maybe a crown air freshner on the dash.
