Clipsy: SEARCH!!! Sorry, but i'm not in a good mood today. The service is just to make sure its maintained properly. It will help keep your warranty if you have problems, down the line. Because they'll check service records. They might comment on your mods, but it won't stop them from doing the service. BTW, service isn't covered under warranty. Your going to pay for it every time. If you would've searched. You would've found posts like this: 30k service Thats what my local dealership's service sheet looks like.

There is a 30k service, but I dont think they will perform this under warranty. If they were to they probably would void it with the aftermarket parts you have. My stealership does the following for the 30k maintenance. They charge $499.95 + tax. IMO this is a rip off. These things are pretty easy to do. If you do them yourself you can save alot of money.

-change engine oil and filter
-replace oil drain plug seals
-service automatic and manual transmission fluid
-drain and refill front and rear differential fluids (awd and 4wd models)
-rotate and balance tires
-replace air filter
-replace fuel filter and inspect fuel system, hoses, and connections
-replace spark plugs (platinium models at 60,000 miles)
-drain and refill brake fluid
-replace engine coolant and inspect the cooling system hoses and connections
-lubricate all locks, hinges, and latches
-inspect tire p.s.i. and adjust to specifications also check for tire wear and abnormalities
-inspect disc break wear, clean and lube (models with rear drum brakes higher)
-inspect all belts, hoses, battery terminals, and wipers
-inspect all c.v. boots for cracks and leaks
-inspect exhaust system for cracks and leaks
-inspect clutch release arm travel and adjust: check and adjust brake hill holder
-inspect fuel lines and clamps for leaks and cracks
-inspect front and rear suspension parts for wear and damage
-inspect parking brake
-inspect all fluids and top off as needed
-inspect p/s rack boots for leaks and cracks
-check all lights, horn, and flasher operations
-install oil and filter reminder window sticker
-road test vehicle

I should have specified. The $499.95 is what my stealer quoted me for my 06 TR which is a manual.

Good lord. I don't think i payed over roughly 306.94. If you look at my service sheet and delete the auto trans fluid change. Auto was quoted at 446.89...that was back in july of 08.

i just did mine not too long ago and i payed $520 and got a free one day rental. i would of done it myself as well, just didn't have the time and it's one of the last few times they see the car before it's 36000 warranty runs out. try to get them to look at every defeciency if you decide to take it.

rollin on 17's now and they're dirty

That was my reasoning baller. I could've done it. But, I figure....what the heck. It there's anything majorly wrong or needs done via a recall. They could find it and fix it. So, I paid the piper and took it in.
