2006 STi + TurboXS TMIC Fitment Question

I just upgraded my 2004 WRX to a 2006 STi. I kept a lot of my parts thinking that they would swap over pretty easily, one of which being my TurboXS TMIC. I tried to install it the other day, but I couldn't get it installed with either my WRX y-pipe and elbows or the STi y-pipe. I have done some searching and have seen some people running the TXS TMIC on their STi so I know that it has to work.

Will the TXS TMIC work or not?

Do I just need to try it again or is there a trick to making it work?

Thanks in advance for your input.

It works. Not sure what the problem is with the y-pipe. I'd call up TXS, they'll have some good advice for you I'm sure.
