2006 STi Timing Belt Service Question

I need to change my timing belt soon. I am looking for the correct part numbers for the Subaru Cam Sprocket Holders for my 2006 STi. I have been searching for a while and found this one: CAMSHAFT SPROCKET HOLDER 499207100 but it doesn't look like it will work for the STi.

Can anyone help me?

that one wont work, i got one off the Snap on truck and it was like 200 dollars. Before i had the proper tool i would use a pair of needle nose vise grips and LIGHTLY clamp the 2 gears together before you take off the timing belt.

doesn't auto zone rent out tools? You could probably check with them if they have it or what not?

I know mine doesn't...but they stock the tools based on the percentage of a certain car in the area...so if Subies are common in your area they'd probably have the specialty tools you need...but I just did what nagy did and it worked fine

When are you coming to town again? Maybe I can wait on you and borrow it from you?

Not almost. It has 95K on it now. I am the second owner and got it for a killer price with 83K on it last October.
