I read on NASIOC that the 06-07 stock injectors on a WRX are bigger then the Sti and the Pinks, like 560cc or something. Is this true? If it is, i wouldnt have to upgrade my injectors for a VF39
I wouldnt think you would need to upgrade them if thats all you are going for. Evrywhere I have read, they say that they do flow as much if not a little more than the STIs, but seems everyone upgraes them even with the VF39, not sure why.
They are just as big if not alittle bigger. People upgrade them, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why. I can see an upgraded fuel pump. One reason I would upgrade is if your IDC (injector duty cycle) goes above 90% when you get it tuned. but it shouldnt be that high so I would say you are ok.
The 07 wrx injectors are the same part number as the sti's injector part number, they are the same size. If you install a vf39 make sure to upgrade the tmic, fuel pump, tbe, and get a good tune.
They are not the same part number that is not possible. Top feed and side feed are different and the 07 WRX injectors are bigger than the STI injectors.
the reason most tuners ask to upgrade is for headroom you don't want your injectors to be the limiting factor which would be very possible.
