What type of engine management are you using?

You will also need more than just a turbo. You will need at least a higher flowing fuel pump and injectors. What intercooler are you using, and what are you looking for/what are your goals for the car?

^ Depends on what turbo the OP is going with. If it's a VF, the injector size and what not are the same as the STi and a 145lph pump, so from a fuel perspective would be fine. But knowing the goals as you pointed out would be a good start in order to help.

Well if he doesn't have EM then none of that matters...

IIRC, the WRX and STi pumps of old were a little different on flow.

The injectors are different...I've never heard about the pumps being different.

2 different part #'s from what I remember. Let me see what I can dig up in the near future.

The 06/07 had some of the best/highest flowing injectors (not sure now). They can easily be maxed out on a stage 2 tune. So if he wanted the injectors to be his limiting factor, he wouldnt have to change them out you are right. But on my little td04 I was able to max them out with just a full TBE.

If you take the older injectors and mod them (remove the cap) people have seen between ~740-850cc. Never hurts to upgrade your fuel if you have the proper tools to manage it.
