For 350/350, you'll need an upgraded turbo w/ supporting mods... there are a number of different paths you could take to get there. This is a good place to get some solid background info on modding: Unabomber's Manifesto - NASIOC

What John said and you'd probably have to kill your spool up to actually get 350/350. I have 350/375 with a STI transmission though and a built engine. Two things that could potentially break on a 350/350-375 are the 5 speed gear set and the engine might have a piston/piston ring related failure. Its happened many times before.

Stock power. The 02-07 WRXs have had their stock trannies blown with stock power levels. Some have broke at higher levels. Keith (aka psinuse) lasted longer than me, with probably a little more power. I rocked my 07 transmission with around 330-350 HP for about 18,xxx miles before I upgraded.l Upon opening my gearbox, my third gear was cracked, but was still working.

I'm still pretty sure mine is a bend shift fork I really do. I highly don't recommend trying to see if your trans will last with that much power though.
I don't wanna sound like an a$$hat, but have you ever driven a car with 350whp?

This is another valid point. 350 AWHP is a good chunk of power. Its well over double stock power levels, and makes the car a nite and day difference in just about every aspect.

Well, the 06-07s have a taller ratio than the 02-05s also. So, that plays a factor in there. More stress on the gears.

For 2002-2007 WRX:
5 speed manual- 1st- 3.454, 2nd-1.947, 3rd- 1.366, 4th- 0.972, 5th- 0.738, final ratio is 3.9 for 2002-2005 and 3.7 for 2006-2007

A stock G37 and 350+ WRX are apples and oranges apart from each other. Start small, get stage 1 on the car, its better for the car to begin with. Then get stage 2 and get used to that, then start doing your research and saving up for an upgraded turbo (and probably a transmission and possible engine build during and after adding more power).
