A VF39 won't hit 300awhp? I would think the 16g would be perfectly capable of over 300awhp with the correct mods and tune.

I have seen claims, but I doubt it unless you are pushing it hard. I've out run more than one WRX with a VF39 at the track with my car at nothing more than a STG.2 Granted I got the launch, but they never gained on me. The 16g might get you there, but again it really depends on all kinds of variables.

A good tune on a dyno jet can get you some great numbers with any turbo if you are looking for just numbers.

Or you can run it on a dynapak and be a god. LOL.

300-325 whp would probably need a 16G EVO 3 turbo or a big 16G and it'd have to be pushed hard. Meh, a 18G or probably what I suggested would do the trick. If you want to get out of the 20G zone.

Some people don't want to run all the supporting mods to max the turbo out.

Well it really depends on what you are wanting out of the car. Sometimes I wish I had kept my stock turbo, but with the RPM range of my motor, there is no way i'd be able to work well with it.

Well, it takes more money to max out the turbo then it would to just buy a turbo that could get you at your power goal cheaper/easier. To each their own though.

From my research, it really won't take that much money/upgrades to max out the 16g. I have searched a few places and not many reference upgrading the injectors for the 06-07. I would have thought it would take more money to support a larger set up rather than max out a smaller one. We will see, my plans are still on paper. Not looking to upgrade until mid to late 2012. Still have a few more things I can do to free up some ponies on the TD04.

The 565's will max out rather quickly. I had 830's and they were in the range of 85-90% IDC, so take it with a grain of salt. It was PnP'd as well being on an agressive tune.

Add a PnPnC to the IM and Exhaust Mani and all the other bolt-ons and yur in the upwards of 3K

The way I look at it, it needs to be done regardless of the charger you want to run.

Agreed, I am going to PnP the exhaust mani anyway on the TD04. My point was, upgrades pretty much prep you for an upgraded snail anyway. So, I wasn't accounting for the cost of those things since I was going to do most of it pre-16g.

Only way to go

Only other issue is that slapping everything on at once, it's hard to rule out issues if/when they arise.
