06 WRX could this setup work?
on a stock turbo could i bolt on this things?

Process West Cold Air Intake 72mm
GrimmSpeed Ceramic Coated Uppipe
COBB Tuning Downpipe Catted Bellmouth
Greddy Racing Ti-C Cat Back Exhaust
GrimmSpeed HiFlow Exhaust Manifold Crosspipe Ceramic Coated
Cobb Tuning Blow Off Valve

and TUNE.

is this a good setup?

Sounds like a good setup. Your factory exhaust manifold is not restrictive to the other mods you listed so the manifold isn't really necessary but wouldn't be bad.

I would do a TMIC before any work to the exhaust manifold. Also, don't bother with the crosspipe and not get the manifold itself PnP'd by Grimmspeed as well.

Bascially I would either:

Nix the crosspipe all together and add an aftermarket/STI TMIC
Get the exhaust manifold elbows ported and polished by grimmsped, and get their crossover pipe as well.

Also, add in a 3-port ebcs. Always good to have.

thanx any idea what it could put out after tune? estemat?

Numbers depend on type dyno, type of gas, altitude, the tuner and a plethora of other things. If you google or look around you can find similar WRXs with that setup and a HP rating. With all that you will probably easily max out your stock injectors depending on how aggressively tuned the car is.

Roman777, you might be in luck... I'm planning to have my 07 WRX tuned this weekend at IAG Performance which has similar mods to what you listed:

Cobb AccessPORT V2
Cobb catted downpipe
Grimmspeed ported/polished/ceramic coated exhaust manifold w/ high flow crosspipe
Grimmspeed 3 port electronic boost control solenoid
HKS Hi-Power Carbon-Ti cat back
K&N drop-in panel filter
Perrin lightweight crank pulley
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump

I'll report back with some numbers if everything goes as planned.

lol k thanx bro!

psinuse 12-12-2011 06:34 PM

265whp...I put in my $5.

mazzanic 12-12-2011 06:57 PM

^^ lets hope. Prob around that

turmic 12-12-2011 07:48 PM

I'd have to look at my old dyno sheet to even venture some guesses. The TD04-13T will be the limiting factor with that setup though. Unless he just wants to spool the crap out of it and have it hit hard and early.

man show 12-12-2011 10:17 PM

I was hoping for 230... stop getting my hopes up!

turmic 12-12-2011 10:44 PM

John, a stock 06-07 STI makes about 220whp on a mustang dyno. So, I'd have to think it'd be higher than 230. Probably 250-260whp. I still haven't looked at my old dyno plots.

Edit: I was about 250 with a Stage II protune and 266 with grimmspeed 3 port bcs and perrin tmic. Granted a VF39 flows more. But, I didn't have any sort of headers/crossover pipes. So, it'll probably be near 250 on the smaller turbo.

basco 12-12-2011 10:48 PM

closer to 250 than 260...I think Ron's record for the TD04-13T was in the 270ish range and his turbo was pretty worked over...although that was on a 2.0L...I think between 245 and 253

turmic 12-12-2011 11:10 PM

Yeah, thats why in my edit I said probably closer to 250whp. Ron's stock turbo was ported and polished also. ;)
