06 Wagon or STI or EVO?

I just recently sold my 02 VW GTI and have some money to burn. What should I do? Continue tuning my 06 WRX Wagon or trade it in and buy a STI or trade it in and buy a new 06 EVO MR (if they are willing to bargin). If I get either the STI or EVO, I wont have enough money to do anything with them.

Keep the wagon and make it a sleeper. That's what my friend did with his 2003 Pontiac Vibe GT. Short of having DCCD, you can make that wagon on par with horsepower and handling of the STI, perhaps better. Plus it is everyday practical and your insurance wont skyrocket.

you can have it on par with the sti but just buying an sti would end up being cheaper and more reliable in the long run..

id reccomend something else but i might get shot

*cough* evo *cough*

seriously though drive them all and see which one you like.the sti's gearing makes it kinda jumpy imo, the evos suspension is a little harsh and the wagon well its a wagon

one thing i will say is if you are power hungry it is pretty easy to get loads of power out of the 4g63 for not a lot of money.

02 rex is gone.
I defected to an evo :)
Evo is gone :(
Now I got nothing.

what are looking to get out of it like an evo you can make alot of power for not alot of money, sti is a great all around car, the wagon can be a great sleper and save you money on insurance. so you really need to figure out what do you want out of your car.

Do you think the insurance for a STI would be that much more than a WRX and GTI together? The only problem I have with tuning the wagon is that you lose your shirt if you want to get ridd of it. I just learned that with my GTI. I just want to beat my old man's M roadster.

sigh my insurance right now is still in the 300's... i honestly think my parents actually paid 400 a month for full coverage during the time i had my eclipse... now i think im 350 or 310 with one speeding ticket sigh =(

totally forgot about the subject lol! anyway i would definately just get an sti compared to an evo, i dont know im biased and i lost alot of interest in dsm's today... however a 2007 wrx is nice too and you would have extra cash to spare to upgrade it to be faster than a stock sti =)

keep the wagon, why extend the car payment? But, I am biased to the ole wagon anyways.

Yes, I do believe that was a wagon that passed us!

I think that is what I am going to do. I have been pricing things out and I think I am going to get a 18G with a FMIC and every thing I need to support them.
