06 Sti reliability bolt on question

Ok, my 06 Sti has 70k miesz and has the following mods.....

CAtted down pipe, aftermarket header, white line sway bars, lowering springs, SPT intake, BPM intake tube, air/oil separator, lightweight crank pulley, and turbo back exhaust with no muffler. and stage 2 cobb AP

My question is, are aLl of these mods safe and reliable? Do I need a tune? I'm ordering a new cAtless turbo back exhaust, is that ok?

What else can I do? I've read a little about some typed of silencer air box delete?

Thanks for all input!

If you want your car to last longer you need a tune.

Why are you wanting to go catless? You have emissions testing in Ohio?

How dangerous is it to be driving my car without a tune? It seems to run fine, seems to run a little rich when I open it up all of the way.

I know nothing about turboed cars. I've always had mechanical diesels and easier things to works on. I can get away with cAtless in ohio

Yes, anything beyond the map notes and you will need a tune... shoot, you will even benefit from a custom tune WITH the exact items on the map notes.

I can't see where getting it tuned by a pro will be anything but a good thing for your car. Tuners can be as aggressive as you want them to be, but I'd tell him I want a good tune, and I want it bullet-proof. Don't push the boundaries of your motors ability.

I have an 06 with a Deadbolt 20G, injectors, pump, tune and all. I just turned over 23,000 miles on her. I still love the thrill !

^ Lucky. I'm about to break 114k on mine. Nice car too, btw - I think I checked that one out on CarDomain a couple of times.

Oh, and since WV isn't far away, you should stop by this bbq/meet too: http://www.wrxtuners.com/forums/f79/bbq-meet-may-26th-walkersville-md-34538/
