What kind of elderly guy tools around in an STi? I think you kids call anyone over 35 elderly.

Is 54 old enough? In Washginton state I knew a guy that was 54, his 05 STI was his track car, his 05 (modded) Legacy GT was his DD.

I would say that someone who is 54 is not elderly, especially if they are racing on weekends. Elderly people are the people you see at a diner that get up and walk to their car (it takes them 20 minutes) and every sane person looks out the window to make sure they aren't parked near them. Elderly people are the people that tip you a nickel when you patch 40 holes in their roof. Elderly people have 40 messages on their answering machine because they don't know how to erase them and "this new fangled recorder box is a piece of junk". I could continue but you guys get the point. 65 is probably the minimum that I would consider someone elderly in a first world country.

Hahaha.. that last post almost had me on the floor.

And nope, I don't think 54 qualifies as elderly either. I think you have to be 60 to get the senior discount at McDonald's - or at least look like you're that old. Although, the way we're going with medicine, the "senior" age will soon be 90-100 instead of 50-60.

Any updates on a new ride yet?

so the guy in tyler texas never called me back. so i looked on craigslist and found a platinum silver metallic 05 STi, un modded, bone stock. 85k miles. for 14500 here in houston. now since i only got 14653.12 from the insurance company. id be spending pretty much all that check and more just to handle title and registration and sales tax and all that other BS. im not very partial to silver. the only way i can think of to make a silver car look good is by painting the stock bbs' wheels black and tinting the windows and a lip ofcourse. silver is a very "blah" color to me. but whatever i can always get it painted later right? im gona go check it out and see how she rides.

heres a link to it, just in case any of you are interested in seeing my 75.4% sure future buy 2004 Subaru WRX STI - CLEAN

The 85 yr old named henry that goes to my tuner and is having them prototype a Blouch BBK STI turbo on his 04/05 sti. That's who. Because he thinks the Polka Pickle isn't giving him enough responce and torque. (Btw, his polka pickle makes roughly 370 at wheel torque on a mustang dyno)

srninjastar: Its not a black WRX or STI. But, its a STI that you can afford and is unmolested.

I think you just kind of made the key point. If you know an elderly guy who owns an STI he is just a much older version of one of us and is probably beating on it just as hard.
