WRX Headlights

Good day..

Is there a possible way of removing the clear lense cover from the headlight unit so that I am able to black chrome the unit inside which is currently the stock wrx headlight chrome?

Ive noticed there are clips that hold this in place but not sure if they have been glued together or something....

Its a bugeye.

Ive seen it on a few heavymodded wrs's like on turbo mags website and so on..
Cause getting a set of STI lights here is like chickens teeth.

any Ideas?

thanks
Ric

you should also put the lights back in the oven for 10-15 mins. after you paint them. it softens that goo so you can put the lens on much easier and it will form a better seal.

good luck man, Like everyone said it really isn't that hard, make sure you clean up any silicon goo right away, otherwise that stuff will make a huge mess.
