Worthy sound

So my friend wants to sell me a slightly used pioneer tsw2501d4 ten inch for $150. Is this worthy?

get a new one here Buy Pioneer TSW2501D4 10" 2500w woofer for $139.95 how many hours are on it?

does it come with a box or amp? I have ran nothing but JL audio in my car and other vehicles for over 5 years, I would recommend JL but hate to see anyone spend over what you can get a better deal elsewhere for.

But then I'd have to buy a box.. which are somewhat expensive right?

And he's also including some power cylinder.. capacitor? But he says it helps to reduce your lights from dimming and whatnot.

I'll find out and report back.

In the meantime; What do you guys think about the Pioneer AVHP4000DVD? I don't need GPS, so it seems like a good alternative. I don't really need DVD either, but for this price it seems like it'd be worth it. Would this work well in the WRX? And produce good music? Because the OEM stereo sucks... It's kind of a shame to get rid of the 6-CD changer, but I only use my iPod anyway.

Keep the stcker and just get the harnesses for aftermarket sound, sub, amps, etc.... Won't pull any attention to your ride either.

BTW..... A cap isn't needed to run a sub and sound. Especially a 10 or 12. Overkill in my book. I had an old Autotek and a Zeus in my old car and never dimmed a damn thing, and those amps pulled hella power.
